When Xena's wounded while defending a village from the son of a ruthless warlord, she's taken in by a handsome widower and his three children to recuperate, and finds herself pondering family life. Meanwhile, Gabrielle befriends the warlord's son, who doesn't care to follow in his father's footsteps.

After an oracle predicts a baby will one day occupy King Gregor's throne, he assumes the baby will grow to usurp him, and sets out to find the infant. However, Xena must convince the king that there's another interpretation to the prophecy, all while protecting Pandora and her legendary box.

Xena's framed by a mysterious, hooded stranger for the murders of innocent villagers, and put on trial by the friends and family of the victims. While Gabrielle tries to mount a defense, Xena's visited by Ares, god of war, and tempted with an offer to rule the world for the good of mankind.

When Gabrielle inadvertantly releases three Titans, they assume she's a goddess. However, when they learn she isn't, they begin terrorizing a nearby village, and try to force her to release more of their kind.

When the Titan Prometheus is chained to a boulder by Hera, mankind begins to lose the gifts he gave them, including fire and the ability to heal. Xena and Gabrielle team up with Hercules and Iolaus to free Prometheus, but unfortunately, the one to free him will most likely die in the process.

When King Sisyphus captures Celesta, goddess of death, and separates her from her candle, mankind is unable to die, even from mortal wounds. To set things right, Xena races to free Celesta before her candle extinguishes itself, all while contending with Toxeus, a warlord bent on wiping out Death.

Xena and Gabrielle team up with Petracles, a manipulating warlord, and Thersites, a bloodthirsty assassin, to find the lost Sumerian Treasure. Complicating things is Xena's history with Petracles, particularly their engagement, and that Petracles is now flirting with Gabrielle, claiming to be a changed man.

Meanwhile, Xena and Gabrielle meet a warrior wannabe named Joxer.

Death Mask

Xena and Gabrielle run into Xena's older brother, Toris, only to find he's infiltrated the ranks of Cortese, the warlord who attacked their village long ago and led Xena down the path of evil.
